About
Practice should be cheap to repeat
pichi.ai is a voice AI trainer and assessment tool for sales teams and the people who run them. A rep talks to a virtual customer, gets scored on what they actually said, and sees what to fix before the next real call.
Origin
Why we built pichi.ai
The same gap in every team
People finish onboarding, pass the test, and still lose the first hard conversation. Not because they do not know the product. Because nobody made them say the words out loud while someone pushed back.
Coaching does not scale
One manager cannot sit in on every call. So feedback goes to a few people, a few times a quarter, and everyone else learns on live customers. We wanted a way to give every rep the same attention without hiring an army of coaches.
So we built the customer
A virtual customer who objects, interrupts, and does not accept a vague answer. It is available at any hour, never gets tired of the tenth attempt, and never judges anyone. The rep can fail safely, then run it again.
And then the scoring
A conversation is only useful if you can say what went wrong. Every session gets scored against the same criteria and tied back to what was actually said, so a debrief is a fact, not an opinion.
Principles
What we believe about sales training
Knowledge is not skill
A test proves someone can pick the right answer in a quiet room. It says nothing about what they do when a customer says no for the third time.
Simulation is cheaper than a live customer
A clumsy call with a real buyer costs a deal you never hear about again. The same call in a simulator costs a few minutes. So make the mistakes in the simulator first.
Feedback has to land immediately
Debrief right after the call, tied to specific moments in it, then straight into another attempt. Feedback that arrives next quarter changes nothing.
Everyone is measured the same way
Same criteria, same rubric, every rep, every session. That is what makes the numbers comparable across a team instead of a record of who impressed whom.
Positioning
How this is different from what you already have
Not a course
A course delivers content and checks recall. pichi.ai makes people speak under pressure and scores the behavior. Your LMS keeps doing its job. This covers the part it cannot.
Not call recording
Speech analytics tells you what went wrong after the customer already heard it. A simulation puts the same mistake in front of the rep before the real call happens.
Not role play with a colleague
Role play is awkward to schedule, uneven in quality, and scored by feel. A virtual customer is always available and always scored the same way.
Team
Who is behind pichi.ai
We run the pilots ourselves
The people building the product are the same people who sit in on the first pilot sessions with sales and L&D leaders. What comes out of those calls goes straight into the roadmap.
No sales layer in between
Write to us and the reply comes from someone who works on the product, not a rep reading a script. Same for a hard question about what the scoring can and cannot do, and for a security questionnaire your team needs filled in.
Transparency
The legal side is public
What you agree to when you use pichi.ai
The rules of use are written down and linked from every page: Terms of Service covers what we owe you and what we expect back. The public offer covers the commercial terms.
What happens to your data
Training sessions contain recordings and transcripts of your people, so we say plainly what we collect and why. See the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
Which AI providers see the data
A voice trainer runs on third party speech and language models, so the list of providers that process your data is published rather than buried. See AI providers and data.
Your security team has more questions
Send them to us. We would rather answer a long security questionnaire before a pilot than surprise anyone after it. Write to hello@pichi.ai.
Every one of these documents is linked from the contacts page too.
Try it on your own scenario
Create an organization and run the first session yourself. Or tell us what your team sells and we will set the scenario up with you.
